Treasures

Jon's adopted grandfather, Homer, passed away a few weeks back. He was 93 and lived a full and wonderful life. Yesterday the children and grandchildren went through the storage unit that contained items from Homer and his wife Margo's life together. Jon found some pretty cool items and dug through the boxes last night.

Crystal from who knows where. There were a few different glasses and we have about four of each. We're pretty sure there's more in the unit, and later we'll go back and take a look.

I LOVE the green bottle! Not entirely sure what its use is. Matters not- it is beautiful!!

Speaking of having no clue... do you know what this four chamber decanter is for?

Do you know what the do-hicky on top is? I do!

Crystal butter dish.

Old time pressure cooker! So cool. More to come!

Great stuff! What a find. Is the metal thingy for taking caps off something?
Treasure those glasses, every time you drink wine, you'll think of Grandad.

Oui Dedene! It is meant to open a champagne cork. At least that was what I was told.
