Pictures

As the camera is out for the count right now, and the owner was on top of taking the house off of the websites, I had to do some serious digging to find pictures of the place we could one day call home as long as the inspections go well of course.

Here's the house. If this link doesn't work let me know and I'll do what I can to get some photos. Mind you we're probably going to expand the half-bath downstairs, remodel the upstairs bathroom, open the kitchen up, and make the sunroom the breakfast nook. Not that we've thought much about this! lol

Hope you all like it!

The link worked for me. That's so cute! The setup reminds me a lot of my sister's house except in better shape. I can see a lot of yard work being done in the back yard, too... ;)

Ohhh yeah. That's pretty much the first on the to-do list if everything works out- get that yard cleaned up! We'll worry about details such as landscaping later. ;-)

It's been in the same family for 45 years. The owner inherited it from his parents, lived there for a few years, then rented it out for awhile, so the condition of the yard is pretty understandable. Still, for an 84 year old house it's in very good shape. Guess they built it to last!

It's fantastic! I love the brick work on the front, the porch is adorable and the big big oak tree in back is wonderful.
The place is in really good shape. The wood floors are spectacular!
You are so lucky to have found such a nice old house to start out with.
The butler's pantry is too cute. Why don't you get a butler?

Ohhh now there's an idea- don't budget for a remodel, budget for a bulter!! lol

The porch is one of my favorite parts of the house, especially the porch swing. However, rip out the lattice, clean up the greenery, add a couple of pieces of furniture and it'll amazing.

The floors are in great shape, I think the owner redid them recently. Overall it'll still be quite a bit of work inside, but, really worth the effort.

Merci Martha! I got lucky finding a layout and a picture that complimented each well. The picture makes me want to go back to Paris and get that shot on my camera (I found this pic online).
